Sensation Fragrance Launch at the Royal Academy of Arts

Sensation Fragrance Launch at the Royal Academy of Arts

Fragrance is as evocative as art, music or poetry, it has the power to inspire and transport you to other places. Lankaran Forest is a fragrance created by acclaimed Italian perfumer, Maria Candida Gentile, inspired by her journey of discovery through the Lankaran Forest and bottled in Lalique Tourbillons Flacon a Parfum.

Showcase created Sensation, an exclusive preview of the fragrance for VIP and celebrity guests at the Royal Academy of Arts. A multi-sensory forest sculpture, music and food from the region were enjoyed by guests and industry-acclaimed expert and director of the Perfume Society, Jo Fairley, hosted a Q&A with Maria about the inspiration that lead to the creation of the scent. The private launch included beauty media, major luxury brands and DJ Mary Charteris, Donna Air, Jonathan Ross, Bip Ling and singer Laura Mvula.

“I’m not sure in all the future history of The Perfume Society we’ll ever quite top it! It was wonderful to be part of it.”

Jo Fairley, Director of the Perfume Society
